If the ultimate salmon trolling rod existed for pulling spinner blades and shrimp - it would want to grow up and become a 360 Pro. We partnered with one of the best fishermen/spinner blade/bait makers in the industry to address on what fishery is happening "next." Are you finding that you are using spinner blades and shrimp more and more? Using them earlier and fishing them longer? (in the fall) This new rod is for you.
These rods feature extended fore-grips to not allow the blank to rest on the rod holder, a double locking stainless seat, and guides that are ceramic free (we opted for a pressed hardened metal instead) so that there is no chance of losing an insert.
The action of the tip is designed to not be “too snappy” for just/only a spinner+shrimp combo, and the fish gets into the backbone of the rod too fast. So, when you are relying on the scent and flavor of the shrimp, as well as the fish “chewing” on it, the fish feel pressure due to the tip action, and would not commit. On the flip side, it is also designed not to be too slow, where the fish would swim with the bait, chew on it, and would destroy the bait before the rod would load up and hook the fish.
